Valentine Cinnamon Rolls

Let’s talk about Valentine Cinnamon Rolls. It’s no secret that my family loves when I make yummy treats. You can see that from our cakes, cookies, donuts, cupcakes, etc. But the best goodies are the ones I get to make with help from the kids. I love to involve my kids in my cooking and baking as much as posible.

These Valentine cinnamon rolls are always a big hit with my children and their friends each year. And the best part about these treats is they look and taste amazing but there is not a ton of prep work that goes into making them. You can throw these together easily on a weeknight. And it will look just as amazing as all those treats you see on Pinterest. *wink

Ingredients:

1 package of 8 ct cinnamon rolls (any brand)
pink gel food coloring
small sandwich baggy
Parchment paper

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Open the cinnamon rolls and discard the packaging.
Gently unroll each cinnamon roll one at a time and start rolling both sides of the cinnamon roll up to form a heart shape and place on the baking sheet.

Bake 13-15 minutes. Remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven and let cool a few minutes.

While the cinnamon rolls are cooling, open the container of icing and squeeze into a small bowl. Add 1 drop of pink food coloring and stir.

Scoop the pink icing into the sandwich baggy.

Use the kitchen scissors to snip one corner and gently squeeze the icing from the baggy and onto the cinnamon rolls going in a back and forth motion.

Repeat this process with all the remaining cinnamon rolls.  This recipe makes 8 Valentine Cinnamon Rolls so if you want more you will need to double the ingreients.
